Just before leaving Denver on our epic journey across the "I" 80 and Nebraska ,
we went for breakfast at "Davies Chuck Wagon Diner".
It's been there since 1953 , crossing Nebraska , also known as the Oregon Trail .
It was one of the main routes for wagon trains heading wes t. It was also the route for the
Pony Express and you can still see the stops every 15 miles .
We stayed in Kearney, home of Buffalo Bill and ate at a diner called "Whiskey Creake".
