St George's Theatre, Great Yarmouth .
A skilled showman, Buddy Walker swiftly built up a rapport with the audience . He is clearly a very talented man with a very strong , well tuned singing voice and is a skilled guitarist .
He proved his encyclopedic knowledge of 50s and 60s music by launching into songs the audience requested.
In the second half, Buddy came into his own taking the stage in his namesake's trademark glasses with the audience clapping and singing to all the great hits . Buddy Holly was brought to life with biographical information about the star and the tragic death in a Iowa cornfield .
The night proved how enduring the songs of the era actually are . Even two commited Indie-kids like my companion and myself went home humming "That'll Be The Day" with a warm glow inside !
Rave On Buddy Walker !
GT YARMOUTH MERCURY - Review by Emma Lee
---------------------
The Fisher Theatre, Broad Street Bungay, Suffolk .
Far more than just a tribute act, Buddy Walker brings the songs of Buddy Holly to life . He performs all the Buddy Holly songs as perfectly as you could ever want while also being a fine musician . Its just an uplifting "Rock 'n' Roll" show that we have now booked twice and sold out on both dates . Each time the audience were on their feet at the end. What else could we ask.

"This guy was brilliant. I don't know how he did it. He had all the backing tracks but played and sang live, changing costumes as he told the Buddy Holly story. The finale was great. After various encores he gave up, possibly due to exhaustion. An enthusiastic performance - very clever and polished. He told me later it was very tiring but he loved every minute on stage."
