These are some of Buddy's photos from his various trips around the USA.

The Roseman Bridge, Winterset, Madison County, Iowa, which was featured in the movie The Bridges of Madison County with Clint Eastwood and Meryl Streep.
I have certainly become a fan of the movie and have visited all the location sites which are all in Winterset or just outside. I have also seen the other 5 bridges in the area. |

The Roseman Bridge, February 2007. Always beautiful! |

Francesca's House (in the movie). Sadly, in October 2003 it suffered an arson attack and is now closed. |

This is the "Blue Note" from the movie. It's actually a pub in the town called "Pheasant Run". |
|

The table and stools used in the movie when Clint Eastwood & Meryl Streep sat in the "Blue Note". |

This is the grave of William Frederick Cody aka Buffalo Bill. It is situated on Lookout Mountain, Golden, Colorado on the outskirts of Denver. |
|

|
Just before leaving Denver on our epic journey across the "I" 80 and Nebraska, we went for breakfast at "Davies Chuck Wagon Diner".
It's been there since 1953 crossing Nebraska, also known as the Oregon Trail. It was one of the main routes for wagon trains heading west. It was also the route for the Pony Express and you can still see the stops every 15 miles. We stayed in Kearney, home of Buffalo Bill and ate at a diner called "Whiskey Creake". |

|
The Eagles Ballroom, Kenosha, Wisconsin, just yards from the shores of Lake Michigan. The Ballroom is upstairs and is still used for functions and weddings, etc. Kenosha is halfway between Milwaukee and Chicago. |

|
The First National Bank, Northfield, Minnesota. This is the bank that Jesse and Frank James and Cole Younger, aka The James - Younger gang, went to rob September 7th 1876. The Towns people turned on them and most of the gang were killed or badly wounded and died of their injuries later. It was their last job. |

At home with my friends in Denver with their little dog, Holly. This is the best Wurlitzer jukebox I have seen. It dates from 1946 and plays 78s. |

This is a monument to trains at Rock Island, Illinois. It tells the story of the Chicago and Pacific Railroad Co. They were the first to errect a bridge across the "Father of Waters", the Mississippi, so that trains could cross to other parts of the country. Not only goods trains but passenger trains as well - the ones known as the Rockets. This was between 1852 - 1952. |
